Buju Banton Goes Viral With New Girlfriend – Dancehall Fans React 1

Buju Banton has gone viral online after photos with the Reggae star and a mystery woman believed to be his new girlfriend surfaced on social media Friday.

Both photos show the “Wanna Be Loved” singer hugging the woman with Banton seemingly kissing her neck from back in one of the images as they get cozy.

However, while many Dancehall fans speculated that it could be the Grammy-winning entertainer’s new love interest, others say they could be really good friends.

Despite the wagging tongues online, Buju Banton has been radio silent on the photos and it doesn’t look like he’ll be addressing the issue anytime soon. “Buju is busy working to provide for himself and his family and has no time to address social media gossip,” his rep said. “His personal life is only his business and people should not stick their nose where it doesn’t belong.”

Meanwhile, the Gargamel arrived in Guyana on Friday ahead of his next Long Walk To Freedom tour stop. Banton is set for the St Kitts Music Festival at the Kim Collins Athletic Club on June 29. He will also headline Reggae Sumfest in Montego Bay, on July 20.

Following these Caribbean dates, Buju Banton will head to Europe. Among the stops are Cologne, Germany, for Summer Jam; Amsterdam, Netherlands; Zurich, Switzerland for Jamaica Splash; Porto, Portugal; Vertheuil, France for Reggae Sun Ska; and Geel, Belgium.

Buju Banton was released from a US prison in December of last year after receiving at an eight-year sentence on drug charges. He is currently promoting his new song “Country For Sale.” Banton is also featured on American hip hop producer DJ Khaled’s eleventh studio album “Father of Asahd.”
